SMOOTH, GLOSSY, APPEARING BLACK UNDER SUBDUED LIGHTING, IN THE SUN OR BRIGHT LIGHT THE TEXTURED GRAIN OF THE CARBON FIBERS APPEARS IN DEPTH LIKE FINE WOOD GRAIN.

Above standard violin bows are available in either featherweight or traditonal weight

So, if you want a Snakewood Incredibow color you can order one NOW, AS A STANDARD COLOR. Just order the standard Incredibow (violin, viola or cello) and tell us you want the snakewood color. Just as with real wood, the sticks will vary somewhat in color and design. One version has a bit more reddish hues in the wood and slightly lighter in color (top stick in pics) and the other is a bit more brownish and darker hue.

This color choice is included in "standard" color options. Order bow of your choice and specify Snakewood color in email to us.

FIVE Holographic Options NOW ALSO STANDARD COLORS

Two options for bow sticks are PVC skin made with lasers creating holographic patterns which break any light into the primary colors of the rainbow. The Firebow has crystalline pieces which create flashes or bright sparkles of color as the bow is moved; the Aurorabow Realis generates larger rainbow patterns the full length of the bow. Both bows appear to be generating the light from within, but it is merely the reflected light from any ambient or spotlight or sunlight

LOOKING SIMILAR BUT ACTING DIFFERENT! These two new color patterns bring to FIVE the number of HOLOGRAPHIC options that have become so popular with today's musicians.. Diamond Dust has thousands of tiny holographic particles, each reflecting its own distinct color of the rainbow, and sparkling brightly as you move the bow. This is a pretty bow up close, and it also reflects a broader pattern of rainbow color, subtle but distinct from a distance.

Diamond dust is pictured as top bow in above picture, and bottom bow in picture below.

MIRAGE is made quite differently, though they look alike under certain conditions (shown as top bow in above picture).

(The Mir age material is made of numerous narrow stripes while Diamond Dust has specific metallic flakes in the surface. Mirage has more of a three-dimensional appearance and is silvery metallic in subdued lighting and cloudy outdoors. The most fascinating aspect of Mirage is that, though it appears there are distinct "sparkles" in the material, when you rotate the stick, the sparkles remain in the same place! Roll gthe stick and nothing moves! Moving the stick laterally, however, the sparkles change color and twinkle in the light! Mirage is more "space age" looking with luster and "3-D" depth (not able to be captured in these photos). It also casts a broad color spectrum when viewed from a distance, as does Diamond Dust.

Here's an angle picture of Diamond Dust (top) and Mirage (bottom) showing some frog-to-tip broad color change at an angle. Know that these colors are brighter and more distinct in real life; the camera has a difficulty capturing laser-created light as with these holographic patterns.

NEWEST HOLOGRAPHIC COLOR STICK: STERLING MOSAIC !

A NEW HOLOGRAPHIC pattern for our bows. Classy, elegant repeating pattern of silver metallic squares or bands, looking like tiny polished stainless steel mirrors, the light pattern flashes and moves as the bow is moved while in play. A little more subdued than some of our other holographic bows, this one reminds us of chandeliers, formal dress, candlelight and classical music. Check details on our "colors" page.

Opaque Color Options for Custom Bow Colors

Solid gloss colors for bows. Again, a gloss colored film with many color options. Favorites at this time are red-brown, black and white. The pics may look grainy but that is a function of the pixels on the camera and the small size of the color chart. (magnified here) The real finish is pure, solid color.
