I just got my Incredibow! Wow! It’s everything I was hoping for and more. I ordered the “featherweight violin Incredibow (normal tension)” and I recommend it. I rosined it up and it drank the rosin right off the cake. My one concern was that this bow would impart a thin or sharper sound, in my case, the opposite happened. My violin sounds richer and fuller and more dynamic than ever! The bow plays almost effortlessly. Control is natural and easy it bounces ONLY when I want it to and does a fine job of it when asked. Playing piano (softly, quietly) I think, is actually easier, which is surprising because it truly does grab the strings and just sores with louder more energetic playing. The world of bows is vast and varied in it’s way and preferences do differ so I can’t possibly say this will be your favorite bow too, (it’s definitely my favorite) I will say that I think anyone who plays a bowed instrument should have one on hand. Where beginners are concerned if your looking for a good upgrade you can’t do better for the money. It’s comparably priced to decent probably-straight conventional wood and carbon bows that are better than lousy but don’t offer much for excitement. For more experienced musicians this is a much better bow than the price-tag suggests. Yes it’s new and different and that can be scary but I can’t possibly tell you what you’re missing if you’ve never played one. My violin is just so much more fun to play. I could barely put it down to write this review but I felt compelled to share my experience. I’m gonna go back to playing now.

    Good afternoon,

I have a question about which weight I should get, I am very much a beginner, an older student as well. I don’t have any issues with my hands and fingers though.

    Which weigh would you recommend?

Just curious roughly how long the shipping takes.

Hi, I use priority mail (2-3 days typically) for orders within the U.S. and first class for orders going out of the U.S. (7-10 business days).
      Thanks! Heidi

  4. On my ur website I couldn’t figure out the difference btw. Nychelharpa, Percussion, Omni and Incredi. The youtube of LaManya was impressive because I have a Mark Wood 5 string viper she promoted the featherlite. What would you suggest for electric and 4 acoustic violin. It seems you suggest Hi tension and medium weight if over 4 strings. I want to buy one of ur violin bows but don’t know which. Batesville AR is the closest so I could drive 3 hours or just go with what you suggest. I play Celtic, Classical and Contemporary, electric and acoustic. Open to suggestions.

Hi Dee, If you have more questions, the best way to communicate would be through email @ incredibow@yahoo.com. Only because I do not receive notifications when someone comments through the site. The regular tension or high tension violin Incredibow would work for you. I don’t think it’s necessary that you need the high tension though. I would suggest the regular tension. As far as weight, the traditional weight will produce a louder sound and has less bounce, it will have similar weight to a wooden bow if that is what you are accustom to using. But the featherweight is so lightweight and almost effortless, it just takes a little time to acclimate to the lightness. If you play viola and violin, the regular tension Omni Incredibow will work for both. I’m sorry this is so late! Thank you for your interest!

    Dear Heidi,
Its been a year since I got my Incredibow and I am very happy with it, the fact that is a vegan bow is the reason why I got it. It takes a while to get use to it, but I use it to play a certain type of songs for now 🙂 Its also very very beautiful, I got it in Back Magic color and when the sun hits in it looks absolutely gorgeous. I am ready to stay with my Incredibow for many many years 🙂
It would be amazing if Incredibow joins Instagram, I would love to see this business getting bigger 🙂
Thank you for your amazing work Heidi! I still have the little rose that came with the bow.
    Best wishes,

    Josefina.

    Santiago, Chile.

Thank you so much, Josefina. I really do need to be on social media more. I really lack social skills lol! But it’s on my mind a lot and I just need to make it happen. Thank you for your feedback, I appreciate it.

  6. I absolutely love both of my incredibows. I have a featherweight model and a high tension model. These are total game changers!

      Thank you, Sterling!

My roommate ruined the hair on my bow by grabbing it. How much would it cost to rehair? I have the omnibow.

  8. heidi heidi

Is there something on the hair that could be cleaned off? If so, you can try cleaning it with rubbing alcohol. I can rehair the bow if you ship it back to me.

  9. Neil Neil

Not tried them, but, I can see you have to buy new ones regularly when the hair goes on them!

    • heidi heidi

Hi Neil, These bows have a three year warranty and the hair can last for years beyond that. I can replace the hair if needed.
